WHEN HEAT MEETS THE STREETS.

During the last week of July NYC was hit with a huge heat wave, leaving all of New Yorks fiercest fashionistas melting in the streets. As I quickly walked down Bedford Ave in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn with sunglasses covering half my face and that New York “get out of my way, I’m in a rush” attitude I was suprised when a man with a camera tried to stop me from my determined treck to the L subway. Even more of a suprised when I looked up from my large ice coffee and saw it was Mr. Newton! Mr. Newton has been one of my favorite street style fashion photographers for awhile now so this was quite a honor and surprise. He pulled me aside and found the location he wanted, took a few shots, showed me them and we chatted away. Such a lovely and talented man. I mean, anyone who can take a photo of me in 100 degree weather, hair up, and wearing errand clothes and make it look alright.. I’m impressed with to say the least. Check out more of his work at www.mrnewton.net xo
