MY 3 FALL MUST HAVES.

Last week was filled with rainy NYC days. All the gloom kinda wore on my mood and I found myself missing my boyfriend more than ever. I really needed those cozy “order in food, cuddle and watch scary movies” kinda nights butttt since I couldn’t have that I found myself doing one of the most girly things ever… going shopping after work for some retail “I miss my boyfriend” therapy. Granted, this is not a typical thing for me to do …at all. But, was quite the great excuse to go shopping for my Fall season 3 M-U-S-T H-A-V-E-S. Am I right ladies?

The breakdown:

Classic Boots. I think girls can never have too many pairs of boots. I wore my favorite ones down this past summer so was on the hunt for a classic (yet affordable) pair to wear with everything. I hate to admit this, but I even found myself going to *deep breath* Aldo.. and almost buying a pair for $150! Not to talk bad about a company, but someone must have spiked my ice coffee for me to have even consider buying them. There’s no quality in those shoes.. at all. It makes no sense to spend that much money on a pair of no brand name/no quality shoes when you can find something much with greater quality for a more affordable price at another retail store or online.

Since most stores close around 8pm on 5th ave. I walked over to Union Square to continue this shoe hunt. I found myself at DSW. Random, right? I ended up finding the perfect heel booties (One black suede and one brown leather). Both being Nine West and $79.99 each. So, in the end, I ended up getting both pairs for a few bucks more than the one pair I almost bought from Aldo. Lesson learned here: Don’t rush shopping for key staple pieces and make sure you are investing in quality!

Leather Leggings: I’ve been on the hunt for a good new pair of leather style pants for the Fall season. Okay, so I might be guilty for owning a lot of pants like this… but, hey! When you like something, you like something. I popped into Zara which is kinda a rare thing for me.. because, well, let’s be real.. It’s not a vintage shop. But with something that is going to be a staple in your wardrobe, it’s important to invest in the fit and quality of the item. These I can (AND WILL) wear with e v e r y t h i n g! $80.00 well spent- you can get a pair for yourself here!
