SHADES OF GOLD.

Gold, gold, gold! Since I love this color so much, I figured I’d showcase an outfit that expresses that love. Since it’s winter, I finally get to show the ukraine in me and pull out my vintage fur hats! For this outfit, I started with the hat and worked everything else together from there…
What I’m Wearing: Vintage camo sweatshirt (get the look here) | Vintage gold pleated skirt (Get the look here) | Vintage coat (get the look here) | Vintage hat (get the look here) | Vintage Chanel bag (get the look here) | Crystal necklace and snake ring from Vanessa Mooney
I love mixing really casual/cozy pieces with obnoxiously glamourous ones. I pretty much live by that and work my wardrobe around it daily. I think way back, circa 2003 or 2004, I was greatly influenced by Mary-Kate Olsen’s style. My mom owned a hair salon and would get a massive amount of those shitty celebrity gossip magazines. I’d flip though every page to get some style inspiration. (I know, this sounds really weird.. but there was something about seeing real people out of a fashion editorial or off set that kept me flipping those pages). I’d also like to blame MK for my slight hunch and addiction to running around with coffee in my hand, looking half homeless and half movie star. Besides the influence of my mother and fathers style, this (as odd as it is) truly is what I think helped influence and develop my style. Hey, Star Magazine, who knew.. you’re not so shitty after all.

Hope everyone gets through this friday quickly and has a wonderful weekend! xo
