Before the iconic bleach blonde hair and signature red lipstick, Gwen Stefani was always serving up some major moments with her style. If you don’t remember this 1998 moment, let me tell you – it was major. I still live for so many of Gwen’s looks circa No Doubt, but I had to recreate this one!
Since Dolls Kills already had a bundle which included the fuzzy bra, blue wig, and face gems, it was pretty easy to go from there. I went with a pair of plaid plants from Missguided, the perfect chunky white sneaker from Rocket Dog, and layered my moms vintage “punk” belt (you can find these anywhere but try Hot Topic for a no fail find) over the pants to complete that girly meets edgy vibe.
Finally, I piled on a ton of Maybelline highlighter (FaceStudio Master Holographic Prismatic #050) and finished the look with Gwen’s dark red lip (I wore Plum Perfect from Maybelline)!
